Places, Earth The Grove

Historic Sites and Museums need your help. Throughout the country, important historic sites, homes, buildings, and museums are in trouble. Because of the recent rise in gasoline prices and the general world-wide financial collapse, historic sites and museums are in danger of closing. Some are being forced to sell off artifacts and property. Most operate on a thin margin and will not weather these hard times without your help. Places Earth urges everyone to support these vital and important public resources any way you can. Please find a worthy local or distant historic site or museum that is in financial danger and donate your treasure, time, and talent.

The Grove

The Grove opened on a site that was once the east parking lot of the famed Farmers Market. While there were fears that it would detract from the Farmers Market, The Grove was developed in a way so as to complement the Farmers Market and the two operate individually while the Grove brings an awareness to the Farmers Market that may have been absent before. The Grove is a controlled and landscaped shopping plaza with fountains and other scenic amenities. The plaza opens to the west allowing access to Farmers Market.

The Grove is located at 3rd and Fairfax.
