State Parks, Historic Sites, and Museums need your help.Places Earth recently encountered closed state parks in Arizona and California is threatening to close all state parks. The story is similar throughout the country. Places Earth urges everyone to support these vital and important public resources any way you can. Please find a worthy local or distant historic site or museum that is in financial danger and donate your treasure, time, and talent. Write to your governor and other elected officials telling them to find a way to keep these parks open. It will be your loss. Public Service Announcement |

The Sculpture Park at City Hall is a 2.5 acre wonderland of both permanent and touring works of art. The sculptures cover a variety of artistic styles and visions from around the world. The free flowing space is divided into two manicured gardens, the Bellaflora Gallery and the California Gallery spreading out to the north and west of City Hall. Additional public art can be found within the building. Trails connect to other trail systems making it part of a unified experience in Redding. Along with the impressive stone and metal sculptures and Mosaiculture pieces situated about the grounds, the park features 135 shade trees, benches, picnic tables, and drinking fountain making The Sculpture Park at City Hall a very attractive and comfortable place to visit. The City of Redding believes that public art needs to be a part of its community culture and sees The Sculpture Park at City Hall as another important step toward making Redding a great place to live. Location: Redding City Hall 777 Cypress Ave. Redding , 96001 The park is accessible any time. |
