State Parks, Historic Sites, and Museums need your help.Places Earth recently encountered closed state parks in Arizona and California is threatening to close all state parks. The story is similar throughout the country. Places Earth urges everyone to support these vital and important public resources any way you can. Please find a worthy local or distant historic site or museum that is in financial danger and donate your treasure, time, and talent. Write to your governor and other elected officials telling them to find a way to keep these parks open. It will be your loss. Public Service Announcement |

| All or most of the buildings at Stagecoach Inn Museum are recreations of the originals. The original Inn was destroyed by fire shortly after moving it to this site for restoration. Other buildings are recreations of buildings destroyed by ignorance. These buildings (and the docents) tell the important history of the Conejo Valley. The Hotel was an important stage stop before the railroad left it behind. North of the parking lot is a path leading to Tri-Village representing three different eras of life in the Conejo Velley. Stagecoach Inn Museum is located at 51 South Ventu Road, Newbury Park. |

| To the north side of the parking lot, behind the barn, is the Tri-Village area. It is called this because it contains real or reproductions of homes representing three periods in California history, the Chumash period, the Spanish/Mexican period, and the American period. |
