State Parks, Historic Sites, and Museums need your help.

Throughout the country, important state parks, historic sites, homes, buildings, and museums are in trouble. Because of the recent rise in gasoline prices and the general world-wide financial collapse, state parks, historic sites, and museums are in danger of closing. Some are being forced to sell off artifacts and property. Most operate on a thin margin and will not weather these hard times without your help.

Places Earth recently encountered closed state parks in Arizona and California is threatening to close all state parks. The story is similar throughout the country.

Places Earth urges everyone to support these vital and important public resources any way you can. Please find a worthy local or distant historic site or museum that is in financial danger and donate your treasure, time, and talent. Write to your governor and other elected officials telling them to find a way to keep these parks open. It will be your loss.

World Trade Center

About 6:45 (PDT) on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001 the phone rang. My mother said "Are you watching TV?" I said "What happened?" She said "It's terrible, a lot of people were killed at the World Trade Center." My first thought that someone went through with a gun. Then she added "Both towers are down." My heart fell to the floor in shock as I realized that thousands of people surely died. I turned on the TV and it was on for most of my waking hours the next four days. Tuesday night, I looked over my slides and remembered the observation deck where I would never go again. I had visited the observation deck in April 1999. This building was proud and solid. Only the heat from a jet full of fuel could have brought it down.

The sick, hate-filled, heartless, cruel cowards behind this tragedy have no honor and don't practice the religion they promote. Their rewards will come to them someday.

It was hate that destroyed the World Trade Center. A small group of hate-filled people, with no love or joy in their hearts or compassion in their nonexistent souls, did the inexcusable to thousands of innocent people, just to prove how mean they could be. It is time, no matter how difficult, for all of us good people to go on and not stoop to the depths of depravity of these bad people.

The best thing for us to do is go on, don't let them slow us down or stop us. America should stand strong and defiant against these cruel people - they will receive their rewards in Hell.

The World Trade Center towers were destroyed by 10 people, soldiers in a war against freedom. They were part of an army of hate-filled people who wanted to destroy our moral. We kicked their butts and became stronger. Rendering
This is my design proposal for a replacement 200 story tower.
